We visited the Medford location for lunch....
Had a great experience! Our waiter Mario was the best. He was very interested in explaining the different German Beers. The meal was REALLY good! My mom hasnt been to a J&Rs for a while, so it was nice for her(we used to go to Stony Brook)
When we were almost finished, our poor waiter was confronted with some picky(& cheap)customers, and handled it gracefully and professionally, so this review is basically is first about the service we had, and then the food! |

AWESOME!!! We had a group of 6 trying J & R's in Islip for the first time. Everyone of us agreed the food was awesome and the service fantastic. If you have to wait for a table do so, it is definitely worth it. We will be returning again and again. |

Our First Visit at the new Islip Location was very nice.
Jamie our waitress was very courteous and helpful,she was delightful, as was Mike.The portions were plentiful, reasonably priced, the service was good. As for the dining experience, it was quite noisy and can't be helped as there is a metal ceiling, wood floor, no drapes
(no sound absorbing material).
All in all it was a nice experience and we will be back. |

About a month ago we and our friends had dinner at J&R in Patchogue and loved it.
The food was very good and the service good as well. The ambiance was casual and friendly and we are looking forward to eating there very soon. |

I have loved this place ever since the 2 coolest guys ever(Mike & Mike) introduced me to it last year. They have a large menu amazing food and best of all the price doesnt hurt your wallet. I can't stop talking about this place! |
